SC cannot be deleted

Hi Experts,

We have a shopping cart (created two years back) with 4 line items. All line items status "Follow-on document created".

Now on opening the shopping cart I can see under "Stats", deleted status I1040.

Stats:

I am new to SRM and I would like to know why it is showing deleted status here (but inactive), and how to delete this shopping cart?

I tried to delete this shopping cart by debugging and changing the code to I1040 but i am getting the message " A data record with specified key already exists".

I can understand that the message comes because already the deleted status is there but why in the first place did the shopping cart did not get deleted?

Hello,

This status does not look correct. It is not possible "undelete" shopping cart.
Once deleted, it cannot be reverted.
Also, header deletion is only allowed if shopping cart has not bee ordered yet (saved/held status).
Perhaps the "X" indicator in Deleted status was added manually via debug.

Check KBA 1649794 about cart deletion.

Yes the "X" indicator in Deleted status was added manually via debug.

I removed that line completely by debugging and then again tried to delete the cart and cart got deleted successfully.
