SAP SRM Special Character Compatibility

Hi Experts,

I would like to know whether SAP SRM 4.0 supports for the special characters like "*MÜLLER"

or do we need to apply any Note for this.

I came across this issue wahile maintaining Procard Master Data for users.

MÜLLER - 2 nd letter is french character... i think so

Hi,

It depends on your basis system and does not depend on application.

Please go to System -> Status and check Unicode or Non-Unicode. If it is non-Unicode, goto SNLS transaction and check the system code page.
