SAP SRM External Number Range for Vendors with two series

Hi Everyone,

I have to replicate two series of suppliers from ECC to SRM.

1) 1000000 to 9999999

2)D000000000 to D999999999

I have tried with many combinations for external number range in SRM but couldnot able to replicate both series of suppliers in SRM.

Please suggest what should be the correct external number range in SRM in this case.

Hi Madhan,

You cannot create one number range to cover the alphanumeric and numberic number ranges. You should create two external number ranges for suppliers. In standard SRM, you can select only one external numberrange as external standard group, so you should replicate the vendors from the alphanumeric number range, then you have to change the external standard group to the other number range.

Cross-Application Components> SAP Business Partner >Business Partner> Basic Settings > Number Ranges and Groupings >Define Groupings and Assign Number Ranges

Thanks for reply.. I had the same idea but want to know if there any other option instead of toggle between the settings.
