SAP SRM CTR without Workflow item

Hi,

we are facing the following issue.

We created a RFC Function Module in order to modify, after some checks, a standard field of a SRM Contract when a particular event in ECC is triggered. The new FM must create a new Change version and this new version needs to be approved automatically (after the approval process ends, the new version of the contract is sent again to ECC to "close the circle").

The new SRM RFC FM creates, as expected, a new version of the contract with the correct value of the field to change, but the issue is that no workflow item is associated to the new Change version and the SRM Portal shows the error "Cannot get process info; function BBP_PDH_WFL_APPROVAL_SIMULATE throws exception Workflow Not Found" .

Pay attention, if we change from SRM portal the same standard field of a contract of the same kind, the corresponding Change version has the correct Workflow item without problems: how can it happen? any idea about a possible solution?
