SAP SRM Attributes Error

Hi ,

For one of the user i am getting below error while contract creation.

"'Attributes for user SAWEEM01 could not be determined"

And when i am checking in Users_gen , i found out that user is consistent but i am getting one error that email address is missing.

Now, when i am checking the same issue for different user , i found out that in users_gen , same error pops up that email address is missing but that is sucessfulll in contract creation.

How it can be possible ??

Please check the attachement , in that attachement detailed info is there with screenshot .

Hi Devesh

In transaction that you are using it is a basic level check and does not check all mandatory configurations for the user .

PLease compare all the attributes defined in PPOSA_BBP for the users where there is no issue with the user who has an issue . There you will see the difference on what is missing .

From my understanding it could be the below attribute 'Transaction Type ' which you need to add .

Please check and confirm .

Can you compare all attributes not just this .. there are more R/3 Document created in backend ,

ACS , All attributes should be checked and compared this is an issue with one of the mandatory attribute missing and I am assuming the affected user is correctly integrated to the org structure.

I checked the whole or str and the attributes of both the users (the one which is working fine and the one which is not working fine  , Both the users are intregreted properly , attributes are exactly same , roles provided to them are exactly same .

Red color- Faulty User
Green Color- Working properly

Hi Ivy,

First of all  thank you very much for your reply.

My very first question is , how this is possible that all the other users are working when they have same authorization and no BP address maintain to anyone.
Why i am getting issue only with one user.

Secondly, i did it , but nothing works after maintaing the BP address also in BP code.
What can be the other reason.

Hi,

Please ignore the error checked out in users_gen.
I suggest you add role /sapsrm/employee to this user and test the document creation again.

Sorry but I didnt get you, add roles means in SU01 ?
In su01 for all the approvers roles are added and sames roles are added for all the approvers.

Did you mean role /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE role is already added to user SAWEEM01?

Hi,

Please check table BUT100 to verify if BUP003 is assigned to this user BP.
If not, this is the cause.
You may add this role to the user via trx BP.

Hi,

Has SAWEEM01 been integrated in the organisational model? This is a typical error where the user is not connected to the OM.

Hi Robin,

First of all thank you very much for your reply .

Yes, user is integrated to OM .
And all other user which are woking also integrated to the OM same as that user whcih is not working

Hi,

For the mail address missing error, you may go to trx BP and then for the problematic BP, click relationship and double click the entry in it. Here you should maintain one valid email address.
