Hi Chandramouli,

First of all Thank you very much for your reply.

But i am not getting the desired result.
I am doing for contract management.
i have set a partcular limit for a approver in Extended attribute tab > PO  Approval limit.
So that approver should not be able to approve the contract if the limit is greater or it sould not trigger that approver while releasing contract.

But it is not happening
Can you please suggest what can be the issue.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Devesh,

Based on your reply I understood that approver is picking in your shopping cart/contract by setting the extended attribute-approval limit.

But you don't want this approvers to be picked?

Generally based on the limit only the approvers will be picked, if the limit is exceeding in the cart then the next higher approver will be picked.

Thanks & Regards,

Chandramouli.

Hi Chandramouli,

First of all thank you for your reply.
I understood your point. But my problem is that Approval limit is not working.
The approval limit which i maintained in the org structure is not working.

For Ex: In Extended attribute tab > PO  Approval limit tab, for user abc i have set the approval limit 100 so beyond that , while contract creation if i give the limit beyond 100 it should go to the next higher approver , but it is picking up the same (abc) approver for any value.

Thanks!

Hi Devesh,

Please check the output limit of requester i.e. user creating the contract.

Is it only going for one level approval or it adds WF-ADMIN in approval preview?

Check the BADI implementation for PCW, you will find the logic and reason of this behavior in the code.

Thanks,

Hi Davesh,

Yes you can set the approval limit for the user in the Organization structure.

Path: user's extended attributes-you can find the approval limit radio button, select and enter the limit values.

Thanks & Regards,

Chandramouli.
