SAP SRM 7 - BAPI or Function module to create a Surrogate Bid for a RFx

Hi,

Is there a function module or BAPI that we can use to create a surrogate bid for a RFx in SRM 7. The bid submission happens in an external facing supplier portal and we are looking for a program that can create the Bid responses as Surrogate bids in the SRM system.

We saw a few QUOT functions but were not sure which one to use. If someone has done this before and can share any code snippets it is greatly appreciated.

The main data we need to put in the bid response are:

1. Item price

2. Delivery date

3. Supplier part number

4. Quantity

Hi Tamas,

Yes we want to automate the response with this function.

We are not using bidding outside firewall scenario - we have our own infrastructure in ABAP to pull the bid information from the external bidding system. We are looking specifically what FMs we need to use to create that Bid response to the RFx.
