SAP SRM 7.03 & ECC EHP 7. Is the PI mandatory ?

Hi all,

I have requirement to configure SAP SRM 7.03 and ECC EHP 7 using Classic scenario. But we would like to configure without SAP PI.

also we have scenario to send external requirement (PR material & PR service) from ECC to SRM.

Is this possible? Or We must use SAP PI to send PR from ECC to SRM ?

Hello,

You can have this landscape without PI involved. Then, document transfer to ECC will occur via RFC.
With this configuration, you will not have some scenarios where ESOA (XML) is mandatory, like central contract distribution, where ESOA is needed.

Thanks for your quick response.

Yes, i have been implemented the same scenario via RFC but for PR Material only (V_T160PR and V_T160EX).

How about PR Service? Does the configuration is same if we would like transfer PR service from ECC to SRM?

Hello,

Yes, the configuration is the same.
There are some restrictions listed in note 505030.
