SAP S-User ID required to log into the SAP Ariba Network as a supplier?

Will an SAP S-User ID be required to log into the SAP Ariba Network as a supplier due to the new changes? I know an S-User ID is required as a buyer, however will it apply on the buyer side?

Hello Kerry,

To login as Supplier, you would not need S User ID. When Supplier registers on SAP Business Network (earlier Ariba Network), he/she would put in Email ID (generally) as Login ID and set password. These 2 (ID & Password) would be needed to log on to Network (supplier.ariba.com).
