rz20 srm confirmation idoc posting error

Hi experts,

may i know how to pinpoint the exact issue why SRM confirmation idoc is not being posted?
This leads to the status of the SRM confirmation being "error in process".

The PO is also not updated with this confirmation.

appreciate any input;

issue is missing authorization in wf-batch user which creates the idoc.

Hi,

Below are the steps to be followed for any IDOC issues w.r.t confirmation.

1. In SRM - T code- we02 - check the Idoc

2. If Idoc status is green then there might be issue with IDOC in ECC system.

3. T code- BD87, select the idoc and click on trace idoc- now you will find the IDOC number which went to the ECC system in filed partnet Idoc

4. Login to ECC system-  T code- we02- check the idoc for error and understand the error functionally.

Hello

There are 2 ways to find out the error .

Soln 1:

In SRM. web browser go to application monitor check the error for the Shopping cart.

Soln 2:

Go to backend -ECC system. go to the IDOC transaction : WE02 .enter the idoc no and check the Idoc error in the segment .It will show in Red colour

Hi Ganes, i'm not able to see the idoc in WE02 of ECC. but in SRM, its status is green.

Hello

Go to Backend ECC System.

Enter WE 02 -Enter Idoc no:  40228 enter the date: 26.05.2015. Remove all other fields

execute.

then open the idoc.and check for error.

Idoc is not being created in ECC that's why search in we02 does not return any result.

Please check in Client: ECQCLNT210 system -enter WE 02  and check the Idoc failure reasons
