Hello Forum,
We are implementing SRM 7 for catalog based procurement in classic scenario with ECC 6.0 EHP 5 as backend.
We also want to go for Supplier Registration (On borading) and Supplier Assessment (Performance Management).
From registration perspective SRM ROS and SLC seem to have similar functionalities like webofrms, questionnaires etc.
What are the major differences between SRM ROS and SLC? For e.g. differences in UI, workflows, deployment options, is BI mandatory with both for performance management, what is the future road map of SAP on this?
Which one is preferred option and why?
Please share your opinion and expertise.
Thanks,
Anubhav

Hi, both are different tools , ROS is for supplier registration only, (acept or reject the potencial suppliers).
SLC has the registration functionality but also another features regarding managing suppliers.
you can find detailed information in the follwing links:
ROS: Registering Suppliers - Supplier Qualification - SAP Library
SLC: SAP Supplier Lifecycle Management - SAP Library
Hope this help !

Hi,
Thanks for the links.
ROS along with Supplier Evaluation + BI can be used for supplier performance management so what is the difference registration functionality between ROS ans same functionality in SLC?
Or what is the difference between supplier evaluation in SRM and Supplier evaluation in SLC?
Thanks,
Anubhav
