Hi,
I am trying to run a reverse auction with quite a few line items (~150). Our team has never run an auction with so many line items and are new to the staggered line item option. Since our line items are naturally grouped into a few categories, could the experts out there please kindly let me know if there is a way to stagger by category? It would streamline our process tremendously if there is a way to group items together. We do not have the lot bidding option configured, so any other recommendation would also be more than welcome!
Thanks,
Carey

Hi
Lot functionality is meant to address your current requirement. I don't see any other way of grouping line items.
One workaround that I can suggest is instead of selecting material from Master Data, create a custom material list clicking on ADD , In attachments provide a list of materials to the supplier this custom material list includes and provide instructions to supplier to bid with cumulative price for the complete list. However I would still suggest Lot functionality as a much better alternative.
