Restricting Invoice number length to 16 in Ariba Network to align with SAP

Dear Experts,

Customer wants to restrict the supplier to enter max 16 characters as Invoice number in order to align with SAP field length. Is this possible in Ariba Network?

Hi Raja - This can be accomplished by entering 16 under Invoice subsection under Configure Document Numbering Preferences in the AN..Please work with Ariba Support if it’s a custom field to put restrictions and also to set this up as sometimes you may not have access to this setting on your AN parameter page for this setting to be applied and enforced due to your access on the AN.
