replication of backend PO changes in SC for MM-SUS

Hi Gurus, I appreciate your help on this topic: (implementing srm 7.0 - mm-sus scenario.

Introduction - Example:

u2022 PO is generated in R3 with quantity 100 PC, but during POR supplier confirm only 90 PC.

CASE 1) Purchaser access R3 PO and decide to accept the new quantity:

1) After purchaser updates manually the PO and enter new quantitiy with 90 instead 100,

Question 1: what happens with previous documents like PR, and SC. (system automatically updated the quantity for these documents, there is any change of status?)

Question 2: there is any notification to Sc creator?

CASE 2) Purchaser access R3 PO. and decide REJECT the new quantity:

1)After purchaser updates manually the PO (CLICKING ON REJECTION INDICATOR of the line item):

Question 1: what happens with previous documents like PR, and SC. (system automatically update the quantity for these documents, there is any change of status?)

Question 2: there is any notification to Sc creator?

Hi Juliana

CASE 1

1. Nothing will happen to PR or SC , if the purchaser accepts a quantity - 90 instead of 100.

2. No notification will be sent to SC Creator as this POR is processed in ECC. If the POR is received in SRM instead of ECC, then based on variances, a workflow can be triggered to get an approval

CASE 2

1. Nothing will happen to PR or SC , if the purchaser rejects it.

2. No notification will be sent to SC Creator as this POR is processed in ECC.

You will have to develop your own notifications if you wish to have one.
