Replicating bulk purchase groups from ECC to SRM

Dear All,

I need to replicate bulk purchase groups( about 1000) from ECC 6 to SRM 7. Please let me know how to do it.

Hi Amit

As Masa said, You need to manually map the Purchase group in Orgnainsation structure in SRM

In ECC there is no relationship between Purchase group and Purchase organisation but in SRM

purchase group is assigned to Purchase organsaition in the organisation structure,

in the PGresponsibility tab - you can map product category responsibility and organisation responsibility.

Buyers are assigned to purchase group upon the business need.

so Buyers receive shopping cart items to do sourcing in the cockpit if sourcing configured

Hi,

Company Code, Purchasing Organization and Purchasing Group are attribute in PPOMA_BBP Organization structure.

Is it classic scenario or extended classic scenario?

Hi,

It is extended classic scenario. I can copy indiviual purchasing groups in ppoma_bbp but to copy 1000 groups indiviually will be too much of a job.
