Release order text to purchase order

We are in need of having in SRM 5.0 the same Release Order Text functionality as we had in R/3 4.5b. In R/3 4.5b we would populate the Release Order Text on a contract and then this text would be populated into the purchase order text of each release against the contract.

Does anyone know if SRM 5.0 has this same functionality or will we need to develop something?

Hi,

We do not have a specific field for release order text in SRM as far as I know. We do have supplier text fields and internal text fields that you could use for this purpose. Or you could create a custom field. For the custom fields please see note 458591 & 672960.
