Rejected shopping cart and changed in PR defaults to one purchasing group

Hi experts,

I have a scenario that is becoming troublesome for me.

When a PR is created in ECC and replicated to SRM into a shopping cart and the approver rejects the shopping cart, the creator of the PR goes back to ECC makes changes and save. After transfering(using BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER) the PR to SRM, it defaults to a Purchasing group that had not been maintained by the PR creator.

What could be the cause and possible solution for this?

I would recommend to dig into SAP Notes as there are numerous notes with program fixes related to shopping cart and purchasing group like 2093611 - Purchasing Group not getting copied to new shopping cart but there are plenty more.
