RBDMIDOC and HRALXSYNC

Hi experts

We know two reports for update organization structure from ECC to SRM

1. 1. Report:  RBDMIDOC + message type HRMD_ABA

    Use with change pointer and IDOC

1. 2. Report: HRALXSYNC use HRALX integration

Which report is recommended?  What the difference between?

Hello Ronen,

Purpose of the reports is different.

Initial distribution of HR master from ECC to SRM is done using PFAL (t-code)  or using reprot RHALEINI.

RBDMIDOC is scheduled in ECC to create Idoc (in this case type HRMD_ABA) based on the change pointers in the ECC. This is used to send the changes that occur in the ECC HR Master during normal user like changes to address, employee additions/terminations etc.

HRALXSYNC is scheduled in SRM to synchronize the data between HR Organization structure and the Business Partner data. In SRM, to work on any transaction (like Shopping cart, PO, Contract), there should be a valid Business partner created for the Organization unit/Person .

This report is scheduled in background to sync the data between HR Org structure and Business partner.
