Dear gurus,
I am currently facing an issue with the "Show my tasks" button.
We are using completion workflows: whenever a reviewer has to complete a Shopping Cart, he or she can open it from the Work Overview, push the "Show my tasks" button and process it.
However, even though the Shopping Cart is still in the "In approval" status, the "Show my tasks" button does not appear in the Shopping Cart details page.
If the user keeps that page open, goes back to the Work Overview and clicks again on the same entry, the Shopping Cart details page is openened in a new window but this time an error message is displayed ("Document currently processed by....") but the "Show my tasks" button appears!
Basically, if the document is locked, the "Show my tasks" button is displayed, if there is no lock for the document, the same button does not appear.
Do you have any ideas?
Please, let me know if you need more details.
Thank you in advance,
Gio

Hi Gio,
Usually the "SHow my tasks" button will appear only from POWL SC view or Advanced search view.
From work overview means that you are accessing form your inbox and then this button is not necessary.

Melina

Hi Melina,
we do an upgrade from SRM 7.0 to 7.02. After the upgrade i had the same behaviour like Gio.
Before upgrade the "show my tasks" button was always visible.
How do i edit the shopping cart when the button "show my tasks" is not visible? When i click on "Edit" i get the message "
| The document is in approval |
| Any document changes may lead to an adaptation of the workflow process |
I don´t want to work with the edit button! How do i get the shopping cart in edit mode?
Regards,
Ben
Hi,
Using "Show my tasks" button is not standard anymore in SRM 7.02, right?
I tested my workflow with the "edit" button and it works - my problem is that sometimes the error message "Work item not or no longer valid (might have been already processed)" message comes up when i open the shopping cart out of the POWL!
The error doesn´t come up with every workitem - 50/50, very strange.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Ben
Hi,
problem solved - the reason for the error is the browser cache. I test with different testusers (say A and B). The message doesn´t come up when i logoff user A, close Browser (all windows) start Browser and login with user B.
If i don´t close the browser, then the error comes up!
Regards,
Ben
Hi Benjamin,
Not sure if SRM stores any workitem related information in Cookies or browser cache. Did you check any SAP notes in this regard? Your solution looks strange but acceptable if this serves in multiple test scenarios and confirmed by any SAP note.
Looking for your reply.
Curious,
Vipin
