Hi
We have installed the CLM sourcing 10 system on a standalone DB system. Netwever database is kept different from sourcing database. we want to change the system to HA cluster now. as of now we installed the NetWeaver DB as root DB2 install and sourcing DB system as non-root DB2 install but non-root install has few limitations to change the standard system to HA cluster.
our question now is can we install the sourcing DB system as root install with all required tablespaces and buffer pools? or should it be a non-root install always?
Please kindly let us know your inputs.

We have got the answer for this.
there is no restriction for sourcing DB install. it can be a root or non-root install.
