Purchasing organization does not exist-Contracts SRM7.0

Hi,

While creating contracts in SRM 7.0, recently we got strange error is:

"Purchasing orgnisation is not valid or does not exist."

we believe this should not be happen because the relavant P ORG- OR xxxx12345 has vaild and existing in the system.

Due to this error, we are unable to process the contracts from SRM 7.0 production system to R/3 system.

But in SRM 7.0 Quality system we have processed contracts successfully with out any error. Problem only in production system.

Could you please help us on this what may be the cause for this issue?

Can you check your org structure to check if Purch org correctly refers to the intended Purch org for Prod system?

i have checked the relevant Purchase org is working perfectly in SRM org plan.

Further where i need to check,please suggest me.

Click on the Purch org in your org structure (PPOSA_BBP) and see the function tab to check which purch org it refers to.

Hi,

I have checked but the user has assigned to company code not P org.

if it is under P org could not find any error.

but our business process is different. so can i assign the P org to that company code related in FUNCTION tab.

can you please suggest how to overcome from this error.
