Purchase Order approval workflows not forwarding through TC SWIA

When I am forward approval workflow to other user I am getting following error

Work item 000015375242: Forwarding not allowed in status READY

Message no. WL842

Diagnosis

The work item cannot be forwarded in its current status.

System Response

The action was terminated and the work item remains unchanged.

Procedure

Only work items with one of the following statuses are forwarded by the work item manager (WIM):

o Reserved

o In process

o Executed

Reserve the work item for yourself before forwarding it.

it is possible to forward only dialog workitems from one user to another.

to find out the dialog workitem --> you can check using the transaction --> swi6 --> using the PO guid --> then from the workflow log --> you can find out the workitem which is pending for approval with an agent ( only these workitems ) can be transfered.

Hi Sahir,

Check the workitem if forwarding is allowed for the same. Go to agent assignment in PFTC of the related task and check in agent assignment for forwarding allowed.

Hello Sahir,

Its possible to forward approval task and not the workflow. In SWIA, insert the approval task no and get the work item for it and then try forwarding. You should be able to forward work item in READY status.
