Project Schedule Date Dependencies

Hi all,

We were wondering if there's any way to disconnect the connection between Actual End dates and Planned Start dates for two dependent project schedule tasks.  For example, if we have 2 dates:

Date A

Date B  (depends on Date A)

Our experience with the system is that when Date A ends, it impacts the Planned Start date on Date B.

We would like to remove that impact, and leave the Planned Start date on date B the same as it originally was.

Is there any way to do this without removing the dependencies between the dates?

Hi Brandon,

You could use the "Fixed at" option for the start date of that task. Hope this helps.
