PR approval flow in 2NV scenario

Hi all, 

We are implementing SAP Ariba Guided Buying and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud using the 2NV scenario. 

Do you have any experiences to share regarding the PR approval flow in that case? How is it managed in SAP Ariba Guided Buying? We know that the best practice is to do it in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud but it seems to be quite limited on a business perspective. 

As PR changes cannot be done in SAP Ariba Guided Buying for fully approved PR, how are you managing approvals for PR changes?

for Guided Buying capabilities with SAP Ariba please access the flow diagram of scope item 2NV here. It shows, the approval step for this scenario happens in the Ariba Buying application. In S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, only the shadow PR is being displayed, as a template for creating a purchase order. There is no change to the PR in this process as employees would only be allowed to purchase items "as is". Once approved - and approvals may be configured to be rules-based and highly automated, the flow is supposed to be too fast to be held up, shipping is assumed to be imminent. The process is designed to be quick and as hands-off as possible, allowing for employees to order what they need when they need it as the course of their business demands.
