since SRM 703 SP04, POWL were optimized with HANA:
SAP SRM 7.0 Enhancement
Package 3 SP04
New BAdI /SAPSRM/BD_POWL_SRCH_DBSYS_OPT is available:
BD_POWL_SRCH_DBSYS_OPT- BAdI to retrieve the powl result set on HANA
Nevertherless, even if its method /SAPSRM/IF_POWL_SRCH_DBSYS_OPT~GET_POWL_SEARCH_RESULT is active, the BAdI implementation itself is not.
Do we have to acticate it using a registration key?
If so, why SAP did not deliver this implementation as an active version?
Moreover, why this functionnality was not delivered with a Business Function to activate it as done for Sourcing Cockpit performance improvement?
Do we have to set field ES_CONNECTED from BBP_BACKEND_DEST table?
For Embedded Search with TREX, this last point is mandatory.
