Portal's DSM Interface might have changed in SRM

Hi Folks.

I get the following Popup when I try to add items to the shopping cart on SRM Portal on Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) :

WPINTEGRATION.JS could not find SAPWF_sendSessInfo() to send BBPSC01's SessInfo to DSM.

Portal's DSM Interface might have changed.

-

Anyone have seen this or have any tips that would be greatly appreciated.

we are using SRM version 5.0, SRM Portal Version - 7.0, Support Pack - 11.0 and Internet Explorer - 8

Hi Vivek,

Are you adding items from catalog, free text? Provide as much information as possible, I also suggest you review note 897796 which provides some details on Portal integration and tips on troubleshooting issues like enabling the DSM logger.

Hi Vivek,

You would need to be more sepcific, i.e. what Portal version, what SRM version and package level etc, the more inforamtion you provide, the greater the chance there is that someone can help you.

Some customer solved this error by changing the IE security setting:

Internet Options, Security tab->Local Intranet and then

the Sites... Click the Advanced... remove

"Ef. http://XXXXX.sap.corp "click OK, then OK again.

Click the Trusted Sites icon, then the Sites. Type in

"http://XXXXX "and click the Add button. There is

also an entry for *.sap.corp. Click OK, then OK. restart.
