Portal error

Hi Folks

I am having an issue with the newly installed SRM 7.0 Ehp 1 system. All software units including usage type EP have been installed.

Once logged in many of the SRM portall links like

Supplier Services,

Material Monitoring,

Contract Monitoring,

Purchase Order Collaboration, and many more links error out with a

portal runtime error smilar to below

Portal runtime error.

An exception occurred while processing your request. Send the exception

ID to your portal administrator.

Exception ID: 12:21_20/01/11_0018_24112450

Refer to the log file for details about this exception.

The logs do not have much details.

I am guessing this is related to creating a system alias in SRM iviews . The SRM server (ABAP) and JAVA are installed on the same physical host. I believe teh system alias neds to be setup in NEtweaver portal under SYstem Administration->System Configuration-> System Landcsape->Portal but specific steps will be helpful ? and any suggestions on toubleshooting this issue ?

Hi,

Can you confirm if you have created system alias ? Make sure you use the same system alias in iview property.

Perhaps you can post a log from NWA. That will give detail info.

This is resolved. Had to install a few business packages and run through config again along with creating a system alias.
