Po awaiting approval mail sent to approver

Hi

We are in SRM 5.0 and we have requirement for all the purchase orders which are in awaiting approval, a mail should send to approver on daily basis till 14 days, if approver has not taken any action it should route to another team (I'e P2P team) after 14 days.

Can you please give a suggestion how to achieve this requirement .

Hi Sandeep,

Unfortunately through standard workflow configuration the requirement you mentioned is not achievable. As Sushil mentioned that custom workflow / program require which will pick up all the work items daily and validate if workitem creation date is 14 days or not, then send notification to approver else it will trigger the substitute program  RMPS_SET_SUBSTITUTE to change approver from one person to another person.

Create a custom workflow template to achieve this.

We have done something similar for shopping cart to send repeated reminders.
