Please suggest improvement in SRM user creation process

Hello All,

We are trying to improve some of the processes by reducing / eliminating steps in our daily activities . I have started with the user creation part and it would help if you could suggest some improvements in our process.

Current process we are following is:

1. Creating user in Solution Manager by running report

2. Assigning system and roles in solution manager in SU01

3. Checking the user in SRM (production system) in SU01

4. Integrating the user to organization in SRM using users_gen

5. Assigning roles in EP

I am aware that following the above process for creating a single user will not take more than 3 to 4 mins but still i want to check if there is scope for improvement.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Muzamil

collect all data once in a week and update them via .CSV file

and upload them . so in one shot you can do for all the users.

keep the spread sheet and collect all data ( name , mail id , user id , org id )

Thank you for the suggestion. I will work on this for integration but could you suggest anything for user creation and role assignment in Solution Manager?

We have some other system also linked to solution manager now. So, is it possible to have a special variant while creating SRM users in solution manager, so that the default system and roles will be assigned automatically?

Copy the aove text into excel file and save as .csv file (comma livited) and open the file as notepad.

you need to do following changes depends on your org structure.

5XXXXXX- your org num -where do you want to upload.

in- your country
