Planned Delivery cost- Will cost be splitted in case of partial Invoice on Ariba Netwok

Dear Team- Need your input how will AN behave in below scenario

Let say we have a PO of 100 EA quantity with total cost (per EA value INR 10 and Freight Value: 350 INR). So, my total invoice value is: 100 x 10 + 350 = 1350 INR

Let us assume that performs a partial invoice in two batches with 50 EA in each invoice.

Invoice # INV123 >>> 50 EA

Invoice # INV456 >>> 50 EA

Now when suppliers creates Invoice the system picks the complete 350 INR of freight value in 1st invoice itself. Wanted to check whether the system will automatically splits the freight value in equal proportions or supplier has to do it manually.

Hey Sandeep,

Don't think the network will automatically split the freight , when doing partial invoicing . The supplier may have to manually split freight . Would recommend testing this scenario to be sure. If you have a test supplier account you could test that out by creating the scenario that you described.

Hi Dencil- Tested the scenario, it does not split the quantity/value. Needs manual intervention from supplier which can be issue.
