Hi guru,
i have to implement the business scenario Plan Driven Procurement in SRM 7.0. I want to transfer purchase requsitions from SAP back end in sourcing cockpit. Could you please tell me the steps to implement? In a specific way, Is it mandatory for this scenario to replicate the products from back end (throught report Material) ?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot!!!
I read that for the customizing of Plan Driven it is necessary the customizing of all steps of direct material ( Self-Service Procurement of Direct Material 😞 to replicate units, product categories, and material types and the necessary products from the back ends.
Could you please clarify this statement?

Hi,
If the business uses only Indirect purchasing then Self Service Procurement (classis (or) Extended classic) is sufficient
If the business requires that shopping cart will be created for Direct Material ((plan Driven Procurement) then you have to
replicate theMaterial Master from thro middleware .
Requistion can be pushed from ECC .(or) some other system like SAP APO to SRM

Hi
There are 4 points regarding replicaton of produt master. As it is mentioned above ,
1. if you are going to user directl procurement (Extended classic) scenario you need to replicate locations (Plant) & Product master into SRM.
2. In case if you are managing contracts in SRM and replicating to ECC (either srm 7.0 / 5.0 versions) then you need to replicate product master to SRM in order to create GOA / Central contractrs against a prodcut
3. If your implementation is decoupled scenario (Classic + Ext.classic), and you want to create reservations in ECC through SRM then you need to replicate products into SRM
4. Finally, when your implementation scenario is Classic then if you user SRM for stock procuremnent / reservations creations from SRM then you need to replicate product master to SRM.
Hope this will give you more clarity on your query.

Krish
