PI 7.1 and WMB

Hi Experts,

I would like to know the main differences between PI and IBM WMB? In our project we are using both. I would like to know why one cannot be used for the other.

Hi,

WMD has quite flexible environment for mapping scenarios as well it has inbuilt EDI adapter too.

SAP PI provides easier integration with other SAP systems i.e Proxy Adapter. Then there are powerful builtin integration scenarios for SRM,MDM & CRM.

With advent of SAP PI 7.0 ,7.1 7.3. SAP PI looks more promising with flexible features.
