'Phantom' Contracts showing in My Workflow Activities channel

Hi,

We have a peculiar issue wherein the approval queue of the user is showing more number of contracts than there actually are. I am referring to the My Workflow Activities channel on the workbench. The count shows as 9 but when the user clicks on the hyperlink to Current Approvals: 9, it shows only 1 contract for approval.

What could be causing this issue? We need urgent help as this is happening only in PROD and none of our Dev, Q systems.

Vikram, I solved my problem, perhaps it can help you and others with the same doubt:

This problem came out due to a non defined type transaction which occurred after an approval activity. When we changed this transition to "CONDITION" and inserted the tag getApprovalStatus() != PENDING, we could solve the problem.
