Hi All,
I have obsered that in SAP SOurcing 7.0 , a personalization button in the out put of a query and add button for the filter prompts of the query are showing up for some reports and for some its not. Can i know how to enable/disable these buttons when we write a custom query.
Thanks In Advance.

Hi
Add button for the filter prompts would show for all customized query and not for system queries which are basically non editable.

Hi
I think there is some confusion with Personalization and Filter functionality. Let me explain both:
Filter Prompt would allow you to add fields to the query which would be used to filter the results while searching for records. For e.g. if you look at query 3rd Parties ( Internal Name:FCI-GlobalImpactProjectsVendorsNoRel ) preview, it would ask you three filter parameters i.e. "Business Unit", "Time Period Beginning At" and "Time Period End At".
Personalization option allows you to display fields in the search results that are not displayed by default. for e.g. in query Search my Master Agreements , you can tick "Created By" result field to display in search result.
I think personalization option would be available in all the queries including system and customized as long as there is some result to display while filter prompt can be added only is customized field.
Hope this would clarify.
