Does anyone know if it is poissible to pass attachments from a shopping cart to the ERP extended classic scenario?

I know the attachments can be passed when using the classic scenario, I alos know that the attachments will pass to the local SRM purchase order when using extended classic, but we are unable to pass the attachment to the purchase order in the ERP system from the shopping cart when using extended classic.

I alos know that the attachments will pass to the local SRM purchase order when using extended classic, but we are unable to pass the attachment to the purchase order in the ERP system from the shopping cart when using extended classic.

In Extended Classic Scenario, local PO is created first (from Shopping Cart) and then replicated to ERP system. Is your question regarding the PO replication process somehow losing the attachment that exists in SRM PO?

Hi Jay,

Yes, that is what I am asking. We have attachments on the local purchase order but they don't show up

on the ERP display only purchase order.

There are a couple of notes that you should check out:

Note 1057932 - FAQ: Atachment transfer to backend, Required Configurations

Note 1446842 - Attachments of valid file type are not transferred to ERP

Hi Jay,

To be clear do you know for sure that SAP supports attachments being passed the the ERP purchase order when using extended classic? I was starting to be under the impression that SAP does not support that.

Good question.

I have been looking around but find no concrete evidence to prove one way or the other. However, the fact that FM BBP_PO_INBOUND doesn't have attachment as a parameter makes me doubtful too.

Hi Jay,

I agree with you. Unfortunately it appears that as standard in SRM 7.0 you can't repllicate attachments from the SRM 7.0 puchase order to the ERP purchase order when using extended classic.

Can anyone confirm that is in fact the case?

Hi Muthu,

I don't see anything from that link that mentions extended classic. It is describing the setup of attachmnets for the classic scenario. I appreciate your help it would just be nice to see something from someone from sap that says they do not support the attachments on the ERP purchase order for extended classic.

Hi Pedro,

Thanks for the information, but that information appears to only be relavent for the classic scenario, not the extended classic scenario. Do you know if it is possible for attachments to get passed to the ERP purchase order when using extended classic?
