Hi Experts,
I have under impression that heierachy in SRM Org Structure is Company Code as a Root and then under Company Code there will be Purchase Org and then under Pur Org there will be Pur group and then relevant EBP users will be assigned below to this Pur Grp ......Is my understanding is correct ?
We want One User to raise Shopping Cart / PO for mutiple Org..he will be mainly from admin departmant .
Any user can be assigned to multiple Purchase Organization in SRM Org Structure ?
Thanks in advance .

Request clarification before answering.
Yes, You are right. But if you want use same user for Multiple Purchase organization I think you have to maintain it at above Purchase organization level.

Hi Narendra,
The assignment can be done using the 'Responsibilty' tab of the Purchase Group in PPOSA_BBP. Add the Company Code organization unit number or the list of purchasing Org units which you want to assign to this purchasing group.
Ensure that the Purchasing Org where the Purchasing group is directly assigned under is maintained 1st in the responsibilty list.

Hi narendra
we can not ride two horse at one time. we can change the horse when we want to ride another horse. Can you?
answer for you :- NO as you aware since we can assign user to only one department but if the user changes the department , you can.

Hi Narendra,
Here, I agree with Muthu. The concept of purchasing group has been differently implemented in MM and SRM. In MM, a purchasing group can be assigned to multiple Purchase Organizations at the same time. Thus, the purchaser can select any of the P Org while creating a purchase order.
That is not the case in SRM. In SRM, a Purchasing group can be assigned to just one Purchase Organization. Thus, a Purchaser belonging to one purchasing group can select only the purchase organization to which his purchasing group is assigned.
I hope, it clears the scenario.
thanks and regards,

Hi,
If you are talking about purchaser assignment to multiple Purchasing Group, "Purchaser Assignment" is available in standard.

I tried it.
But experinced that , One user can be assigned to only one Pur Grp. We can just shift the User assignment from one Pur Grp to another by this way shown in Note and hence when try to craete PO in SRM system gives only one Pur Grp's option to select and not the previous one and just assigne done.
But if any Purchaser is responsible for multiple P. Org and want to create PO for Diff P.Org at diff times then how this can be done in SRM PO , just like ECC PO in ME21N . System prapose befault some P.Grp ..its okay..but Purchase should have option to select multiple Pur. Grp ( and hence Pur. Org) -definitally we need to assign this Purchaser above to hierarchy of all P.Org.
Do you ( anyone) have same expirenace like me or succesfully able to assign one User to multiple Pur. Grp /Pur Org....if yes can you or anyone suggest me..that how it can be achived ?
