New PO situational mandatory fields

Hi everyone,

In order to collect data surrounding the foreign trade, certain fields need to be mandatory, but only in certain cases.

The commodity code field in the import tab should only be mandatory if no PN is specified.

Also, if the exclusion/inclusion field is specified, the line item is not a product and thus the commodity code field should not be mandatory.

Is there any way to achieve this? having the commodity code field mandatory in some situations?

Am not sure on the functional part if we can achieve this but technically you can do this.

You can find the suitable user exit or enhancement point with help of your technical consultant and ask him to code the required validations there.
