In SAP building block library, you can find some config documents. Check for the below document. You may find them useful

S60_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_DE - Confg Self service procurment

S61 Building Block Configuration Guide - Config for Plan driven procurement with SUS.

Consultant guide for SAP SRM

and Enhancing SRM using SAP SRM.

These two books will give you a good overview about SAP SRM. Please dont refer any config guides immediately. Here inthese two books every thing including the config has explained.

Check in SAP catalog and ask your manger to procure for your library. We dont have softcopy of this. we need to buy these two.
