Need to change UOM in ECC in PO which is created in SRM

Hi Guys,

The requirement is to convert u201C u201D unit of measure in to EA for limit purchase orders in the ECC for u201CECPOu201D document types. The PO's are created in SRM (backend system).Can any one advice me how can i achive this ECC.

Is this can be achevied techincally or functionaly .Kindly guide me .

No.cancel the PO and create a new PO.

it is not possible to change UOM.

Why requester forgot to put correct UOM or any difference between Contract UOM and Material Master Order UOM.

Why do you want to change? Any accident happen in your system for single instances which system supposed to do correct but failed.

Hi

I did not understand the requirement to change the Unit of Measure when the PO is created in ECC.

Even if you have to do it, you may handle the BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW BADI and change the values in the data structures which are passing data from SRM to ECC.

I am not sure to what extent the change in UoM will backfire in the follow on processes.
