Multiple Purchase Order Responses for one PO line item (ECS)

Is it possible that the vendor could send a purchase order response for a PO line item with a new date and then later decide to send another purchase order response again with a  new date against the same purchase order line item?

Assume no PO response approvals and we are using extended classic scenario.

Not possible (at least in MM-SUS) case. I  believe the behavior is same for SRM-SUS also.

Thanks for the response.  After a bit more research it seems that it can be done if you are using XML purchase order responses.  A new response would cause the old response to be marked in a status of "Out of Date".  Can anyone else confirm this for me?
