Message from Approver is not working with the offline approval in SRM 7.0

Hi Gurus,

I am using the offlineapprovalsend and testing out the email approve and reject links which are working good.  But when I try to type a message in the box "Message from Approver:" it does not get put into the shopping cart.  Can you please let me know if there is a setting that I am missing.  I am using SRM 7.0 and doing this with google mail.  The email links are working just fine and getting processed correctly coming back into SRM system.

Hi Jeff,

If you are using links is because you have note 1682407 applied.

"Limitation:

Due to the fact that Outlook can't handle the HTML/JAVA script coding

properly in latest releases,  we can't dynamically read the text box

information and pass it to the link.

In case of if you wish to pass the approval notes kindly add this

approval notes information next to NOTM_OUT field before sending the

mail."

Meanwhile this was not solved by development despite the many customers requests.

Please check these two notes,

Note 1611398 - Offline-Approval: Message will not be displayed

Note 1610667 - Approval note attached without comment in offline approval

Hi Ritesh,

OSS Note 1611398 is not applicable to our system.  We implemented Note 1610667.  I tested it out and it still does not work.  Are there any other notes I can I try?
