Meaning of the check box "Follow Up: Work Item to Requester at Process End"

Hello Experts,

We are in SRM 7.0

In Approval Process Overview Tab,what is the functionality of the check box "Follow Up: Work Item to Requester at Process End"

Any Pointers will be highly appreciated,

Dear RKS

Once you have this flag checked it will always return to the requestor. Then the requestor needs to accept the cart and once it is fully approved the cart will be completed and will create the follow on document. For example, when creating shopping carts, if you choose indicate "Work Item to requester at process end" in approval process overview tab, the SC will go back to requester even after the final level (for example ,the 9th level)approved the SC. No follow up document like PR will be created in ECC.
