ME 013 Document type ZCPO not allowed with doc cat B

Dear  Experts,

I am facing this issue when we the shopping cart is  completely approved. I have gone through the sdn links but felt thats not helping.

Please find the details of my system.(SRM 7.0 and EHP5)-Classic Secnario

I am creating a free text item with material group T100 in SRM.

At R3 side.

I have an info record for the material group.

ECPO document type has item category B already maintained

At SRM side

in org Strcture i have maintained two document types in BSA attribute(not defaulted any thing)

ZNB--- for PR

ZCPO-- for PO

Define backend objects setting

*         T100           Reserve generated if stock           PO if item data complete if not PR.

i have define number ranges in SRM

PO           2000000000          2999999999

this is assigned to ZCPO transaction type

Same number range has been maintained as external and assigned to ZCPO in R3 under PO document types

similarly in SRM  for PR number range is maintained

PR

3000000000

3999999999

this is assigned to ZNB in R3 system as external.

PR is getting created as defined in the sytem but PO is not getting created.

please let me know if i need to do any changes

Hi Malay,

I have checked in BBP_PD ,

BE_Object_ID is filled with the number range of PR

Document type is taken properly as ECPO only.

Hi Malay,

No i have maintained the document type from search help.

i will go through the link you have provided.Mean while i did the following

I have removed the document type ZCPO in BSA attribute and created a shopping cart with inforecord it has created PR

i went back and checked the shopping cart assign SOS , i didnt find the info record which was there when i ordered the shopping cart.

Hi Subhalakshmi,

For those cases where PR got generated & PO did not come through auto, Pl  run ME59N in R/3 to check the incompletion data & action further..

I am able to create PO with the PR generated.

It may be due to incomplete data for creation of PO.

In ECC test system please try to create PO with those data you have during creation of SC and check if any missing data for PO creation.

While creating PO in ECC with document type ZCPO, you can manually enter external number for PO document (for ex 2000000100).

I tried the same in ECC system doesnt through any error . Its allowing me to create PO without any error.
