MDM vendor data load

Hello,

I have to take over an MDM installation for SRM 4.0.

I am new in this MDM field.

I need to know what questions I should ask in order to know all the specifications.

The MDM is currently used for vendor data loading, I need to know what are the steps for MDM vendor Data load, and the transactions involved.

I think it's how to "How does vendor upload item data". But I am really new in this field, so do we need to transfer vendor master data too?

What are the steps for vendor load and related transactions.

Hi,

There are 2 ways.

A: by email

1. Supplier sends item data file to Buyer

2. Buyer import the item data using MDM Import Manager

B. by FTP

1. Supplier put the item data file to FTP directory

2. MDM Import Server automatically imports the item data

There is SRM270 class room training for SRM-MDM Catalog.

I had a misunderstanding my SRM 4.0 is using CCM 2.0

So I would ask you the same for CCM 2.0 :

What are the steps for vendor data load and the related transactions.
