MDM Catalog -- Contract Upload issues

Dear All,

We were able to upload Products and Suppliers into MDM Catalog. We have uploaded all the Reference Data too. But we have an issue with the Contract Uploads. We are trying to upload contracts from ERP to MDM Catalog 3.0. The Contracts from ERP as a file download is taken into a local PC and with the Import Manager, we are trying to upload this file into the Repository. We got an error " Source File doesn't conform to XML Schema . Element <CatalogueUpdateNotification> not found in the Schema ". Pl provide some pointers to solve this issue.

Thanks in advance

velu

I have the same problem. Did you fixed this upload?

Kind regards,

Hi,

PI maps/converts the XML (ERP -> PI -> MDM). PI is not involved in your case, so you should manually convert the XML.

Are you looking for a solution without PI ?

Hi,

We have configured the ERP-PI-MDM Scenario and we are using the standard XI Content provided by SAP. The only thing we are trying to do is to get the file from the FTP location and import this through import manager client to check as well as create the import map ( that would be used by the import server for auto upload of contracts). We run MECCM and to upload contract from ERP and through the PI, it finally creates a XML file in the MDM server. This works OK. But when we try to import this file ( we will test the automated import server based uploads later), we get an error "Source File doesn't conform to XML Schema . Element <CatalogueUpdateNotification> not found in the Schema ". The validation of this XML file seems to be against "CatalogueUpdateNotification.xsd " ( instead of "MDMContractDataTransmission.xsd"; ) and this xsd is not present in the MDM repository. How to resolve this error?. do we need to specify the XPATH settings as per the note 1177780?. We have tried this too, but couldn't save the settings and the data never gets saved.

We are able to use the PI scenario for Products and Suppliers from SRM and able to import the data into the MDM using Import Manager.

Yes. XPATH setting is required. Please try again.

Hi,

We have done the XPath Settings too and the settings are getting saved. But still we are getting the error ""Source File doesn't conform to XML Schema . Element <CatalogueUpdateNotification> not found in the Schema ", when we try to import the file inot MDM. The operation mapping filed is empty for the interface "CatalogueUpdateNotification_Out " in the XI . Is this creating the issue? May be XI is not converting the the data that it receives from ECC?. How to resolve this issue?. Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks and Regards
