MDM-Catalog 3.0 show item which can not be bought?

Hi

I my data manager I have products that are no longer produced by my supplier, but I have a lot of related products on the items. Therefore I would like the catalog users still to able to search for the product in the catalog but it should not be possible to buy the product (add it to the shopping cart). It should only be possible to search and view the product in order to see the related / substitute products for the item.

Any one knows what to do?

Hi,

How about implementing BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER BADI ?

Catalog passes item data with validity date and the BADI implementation checks validity date and remove the item during transfer.

I would very much like that it is possiable to add the product to the shopping list in MDM-Catalog.
