Max retry and duration of retry by CIG / Spend Management Gateway

Hi Experts,

We are migrating from ECC to S4, during the go live period the SAP system will be down for 96 Hrs. / 4 Days. During this period the Business Network will be up so supplier will keep on sending the documents. During this period the transaction will fail in CIG. I would like to know how many times CIG re-attempts to send the transactions and what happens after max attempt is reached. I would also like to know how CIG handles sequencing of message so messages are reprocessed in correct sequence.

CIG will try to resend the ddocument failed, 3 times (once per hour) afte the initial failure.
In any case, when the document failed and has enter "RETRY" or "FAILED", the CIG Admin can come back and select all the failed transaction and click on "Reprocess >> Oubound" that will resend all the documents again.
Note that CIG keeps the transaction of the last 30 days.
