What is best practice or recommendations for a material taxonomy with R/3 or S4 (Non-Retail) to allow Purchasing to enable a multi-tiered hierarchy to categorize materials and purchases with and without material master records as well as invoices?
We would like to implement a Material Taxonomy in R/3 not using MARA-MATKL (Material Group) or MVKE-PRODH (Prod. Hierarchy) fields because these fields are used in other processes.
