All,
Is it possible to place a supplier import file (csv or workbook) onto an FTPS folder and have Sourcing OnDemand consume that file and process the additions/changes? In the configuration file it states:
You can import master data files with CSV, XLS, or XLSX format in two ways:
Use the standard web user interface
Use a client application distributed with the system, which allows data to be imported outside of the web environment
I have not been able to find any information about the second option.
Thank You

Hello Dustin,
for the integration with SAP ERP we allow to import materials, suppliers and RFQs from ERP via FTP into Sourcing. It can be ftp or ftps. The way it works that a scheduled tasks needs to be configured where you decide from which folder fils should be imported and how often the application should check for new data, e.g. every x minutes or x hours, days etc.
I am not so sure about CSV files, but every file where you can say which importer should be used can be imported in background. When doing manual (CSV) file imports I am always asked which importer I would like to use that I have doubts this will work in background.
best regards
Markus

Hi Dustin,
according to my knowledge, only the import of contracts is supported via FTP server. Also we don't support FTPS yet, it will be supported in Wave 10 (coming next year).
Hope this helps,
Armin
