Hi,

I would like to know what are the other logins namely  fssystem and fsenterpise used for? What is the importance of these logins?

Any guidance is kindly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Hi Anshu,

I will try to give a high level explanation. Think of system and enterprise users are super users. When SAP Sourcing is first installed, it comes with the system user with the default password ‘manager’. You would have to login as the system user and create something called an enterprise context and set the password for the enterprise user. System user, is also used to setup other high level configurations such as the host name, port etc that is used to access the system. Once the enterprise is created, you can access the enterprise as the ‘enterprise’ user and import the enterprise workbook which contains a number of bootstrap type of data. One of the objects created as enterprise user is the Company. User accounts and all business documents such as Project, RFx, Auctions, MA, etc. are tied to the Company.

You can also find some additional information on contexts in the help documentation under Setup > System Setup > Contexts.

Regards,
